Mario Madrid
Mario Madrid is a fifth generation Texan who at his core is a trial lawyer who finds it a great honor to defend the rights of the accused. Mario has tried and represented clients who have faced a range of charges from Capital Murder, Aggravated Robbery and Aggravated Sexual Assault to DWI, Drug Cases and Theft.
Mario never backs down and works tirelessly in the defense of his clients. He is a true believer in doing everything possible to help his clients and their families through the dark period of a criminal accusation.
Personal
In his private life Mario is happily married and the proud father of two children. He is active in his neighborhood and at St. Anne Catholic Church where he has served as a member of the Pastoral Council, a lector at Mass and a speaker at Marriage Preparation and Baptismal classes. Mario is an avid runner who has run 7 marathons typically finishing in the top15% of the Houston Marathon.
Associate Judge
Mario takes pride in serving the citizens of Houston as an Associate Judge at the City of Houston Municipal Court. He was appointed by former Mayor Bill White in 2008 and was recently reappointed by Mayor Annise Parker.
Board Certified
There are more than 70,000 attorneys licensed to practice in Texas. Only 7,000 are Board Certified. Mario is one of these select attorneys as he is Certified in Criminal Law.
